Does anyone know the best way to hear PHI or Lifeline. I've seen CONV channels and 800. Not sure what they are using.
Hate to tell you this, but I have heard them quite a few times on that channel. But I am wrong, just like everyone else that disagrees with you.

Med helos can apear on ANY frequency used by fire or ambulance, as well as on most trunked systems. If needed the pilot can program the radio enroute in order to use a system they don't normally use. So besides whats in the database keep in mind they can pop up on the above as well.

That's where I normally hear them. For example, when the helicopters come to the Muncie area, they communicate with Delaware County EMS on DCEMS's VHF freq. I haven't heard them on SAFE-T here, but I'm sure they use it.
You should, they are simulcast on SAFET.... hear them all the time on SAFET on Muncie tower.
