is there a way to see if the HackRF One is connected to other software?

Mine worked out of the box using sdr1742. I could not get it to work at all with the spectrum analyzer on GitHub for windows machines and ended up using zadig on it and now it works with that. See if you can locate an older version of sdr# like 17xx or 18xx something. See if it works in there.
