I was briefly in Algoma District and was monitoring the systems from RR programmed into my scanner. Two frequencies were not monitor-able.

168.40500VFY542RMMont Rvr RPTRMontreal River Fire RepeaterFMNFire-Talk

It sounded like it was possibly P25 or DMR. I didn't have a chance to do much with it so I'm not sure what type of system they may have moved to.

Same for this one as well:

153.08000CGL675RMAF Z1 BRFD 2Blind River Fire Dept.- Ch. 2FMNFire-Talk

Perhaps someone in the area could monitor and find out what system they are using. My BCD436HP didn't show if it was NXDN ..etc.

P25 would have shown on the scanner. Did you pay for DMR upgrade? If not, the display shows nothing but you hear noise through speaker.

VFY542 has another repeater assigned to it. They all show as analog (but it would not be the first time that they have switched to digital and license would not show) Also, it's possible that they have two systems. One for local and one for wide area

I have the DMR upgrade but it didn't show up as that. I have NXDN as well. I didn't have time to add it to my scanner as a single frequency system DMR/NXDN etc to figure out which system it was.
