AM Frequency Question-

I have been hearing what appears to be weather related traffic on 125.825 AM Frequency.

From listening to it, it doesn't sound like any local news helicopter or anything. This sounds like a team of people affiliated with the NWS.

Does anyone know anything about this frequency?

Well, that frequency is in the civilian aircraft band, so maybe they are weather observation planes perhaps?

That freq is for the the Kansas City Air Route Traffic Control Center in Tulsa.

Used to be on 135.55,moved a couple of years ago to 125.825.
