I have all the PL's on 161.2950 which represent Channels A-H. I would like to know what channels cover Penn Station in Newark, NJ and Penn Station in New York City
Thanks
Thanks
The "Newark" repeater is 114.8 -- I think it is actually located just across the river in Harrison just like the "Trenton" repeater in Morrisville.
Further up the line, Saybrook CT is 156.7.

131.8 - Unk ID, Radio says MIDWY
Is there a Midway up in New England, or would that be the Midway (Monmouth Junction) in NJ? Amtrak has a repeater licensed for Midway/NJ but in several years of listening for it (and I live less than a mile from it) I've never heard it used, even when units are right there. They're always on Adams.
Justin, you missed Newark. If you're doing the NEC in order N-S then it should go NY Penn, Newark, Metro Park, Adams, (Midway if that's the NJ one), Morrisville.
Are you guys sure that the 161.295 frequency is used by the foot patrols in NY Penn Station? I was in there just a few years ago, and was doing a limit search silently with some ear phones on, and I sat on 161.295 as well. I was not getting any traffic, even as I saw officers walking by a few times with their portables squawking away!
I made it a personal goal to get in there recently & confirm what they are using, but that unfortunate think called 'work' just keeps getting in the way (and I can't hide the 500 in my jacket - this is going to have to wait until I get my 396XT)!
160.205? No longer 161.205?
My comments regarding the Metuchen Repeater remain though.
