Ann Arbor MPSCS

Is there something wrong with the MPSCS site in Ann Arbor TO207. I was down in Ann Arbor yesterday and on the control channel 868.875 all I heared was static. I entered in all the other frequencies and heard voice traffic cristal clear. Even 868.325 the alternate control channel was not working.

Something must be wrong with the tower as of Friday I am not able to hear anything but static as well..

The Tower has been down since yesterday at least.......All I get is static, but nothing else. I ran PRO96COM on the Northville and FlatRock towers and it still showed that the AA site was still connected but not emitting a CC. Not sure why it is down, but it is definatly TOAST!!

I also overheard a couple of Hamburg Twp. Police officers complaining yesterday about having "ongoing radio problems".I heard them on their private chanel Bring up the topic of the problems.One of them said that they have not been able to recieve very well,and certain spots were completlely "garbled" all weekend.The other officer responded by saying that he thought the problem was caused by the "Ann Arbor tower being down".I have been listening to Livingston county Police Talkgroup (2146)and,I have noticed that some of the units in the southeast side of the county have been having problems transmitting.So maybe that can shed some light on the Ann Arbor MPSCS. Tower problems.
