I think I know the answer to this but does the NMO connection need to be sealed?
No, if you install the antenna with the gasket, it'll be fine.

I'm not sure if the it comes with a gasket but I'll find out on Thursday
That cable should be fine.
The kit I linked to above includes a couple of F connectors:
You can find cheaper kits, but Klein is a good brand. I have a similar kit in my truck at work for the few times I need to move satellite internet connections at remote sites.
If you need more connectors, you can find them on Amazon, or at most hardware stores. I know for sure Lowes and Home Depot carry them. Since you have linked to the RG-6QS cable, find the connectors that are listed to work with RG-6QS cable.
Both ends of the coax I got is F connectorsWait... Am I missing something? What are we using F connectors for?

I'm using this to ground my antenna: Ground clamp at Menard's Link
Should I be using something like that? (Refrencing lu81fitter's picture)
Uh.... Why? I'm not being a smart ass but this is not standard practice.
Ok. I was not expecting the antenna to be that powerfull. I'm picking up stuff I've could never receive before. Thanks everyone for the help.
Weird question but do I need to do any "maintenace" to it going on? (Like should I clear snow from it if needed)
Can you recommend a good sturdy magnet mount for vehicles? I would definately use this antenna on a vehicle when I go somewhere with the BCD325P2.
