Loving mine. Haven’t used the gps yet. Not much in the manual on this so assume you just activate it and takes control of your location.

Pretty much. Turn on GPS in the Settings and if you are using favorites, make sure that your favorites list is set to "Location Control: ON" in Options. As long as you have GPS coordinates entered into your favorites, you should be go to go. If you are just using the Full Database, then just turning on GPS and waiting for it to find at least 3 satellites should be enough.

I really enjoy using my 150. It is pretty much is attached to either my hip or my hand if I'm not at my desk. I find that I use the Bluetooth feature and / U\Aware app when traveling rather than connecting to the Audio Aux port in my car radio. Less cables! My only complaint is that it didn't come out six months earlier when I was shopping for my SDS 100. :ROFLMAO:

It stays in the cradle, in my shack. Haven't even scratched the surface yet as far as all the bells and whistles. I just have it scanning a system about 40 miles away which my SDS200 doesn't receive very well. The SDS150 is about 95% receiving the same system. So far, I am loving it (y)

I have had mine Mobil and in the shack, when in the shack it is connected to the same antennas as my others, but seems to have more hits as seen in ProScan even when both SDS radios scanning same lists. - Really love it.
