no , I just save the memories...!but I can reproduce it for you if you like...?

No that's fine. From what I read unlike the firmware upgrades I've done before this one erases a number of memory items and they have to be restored using the methods in 5-3 of the manual once you save them on your SD card.

Eric I did my update today and may have an answer for you. At the end of the update process don't just turn off or close the radio as that's not enough. You must disconnect the power for 30 seconds and then reconnect.

You may want to call AOR at 310-787-8615. You may want to back up your setting on the SD Card and try a full reset rather than just a system reset.

Your problem seems to be with 171.180 SQ Simplex A. Could they have gone digital rather than analog carrier squelch? On RR DB no CTCCS tone is shown for that frequency. Perhaps re-enter that frequency.

Could the problem be coming from the radio
Below it or the item sitting on top of it ?

Try moving the radio .

Hi All,

i have the same Problem with my brandnew DV1 Firmware 1512A: When I switched to AM/SSB/CW and
shutting down /Reboot the Radio I have a Noise like Eric`s DV1 has. Changing the Mode to FM and back to AM resolved the Problem. With the delivered Powersupply the Radio gets a little warm and the PS itselv gets hot. I tried a 2A PS, the Radio now stays cool but the Soundproblem is still alive.

Anyone have problems with the SQL level ?
In FM mode
SQL level set below 60 SCAN or SEARCH stops and not go FWD
when the SQL level shows 60 or above, than SCAN or SEARCH will go FWD again..

What Type of Squelch do you use ?...I think for best Results use the Level Squelch.

Might you able able to give a brief explanation of the different squelch types and what they are supposed to accomplish? The manual is not very clear in explaining the differences. Thank you.

I think in the Manual on Page 27 the Types are very good described.
My Wishlist for the next Firmware Update: Fixing of the Bugs, Autorecording Function, Deleting Function of the recorded Files.
