here is a small software to handle searches I've just released, please check it here:
aor_search
It's open source and runs under Tcl/Tk so should work on pretty much any platform as long as you have a recording software that can be setup from the command line.
Tested so far under Ubuntu Linux and (partially) under Mac OSX.
Reports and feedback appreciated.
