I have created a .mem file for use with the Butel ARC 396 software that has airshow frequencies based on the March 2006 "Monitoring Times" airshow article. All of the frequencies from that article are here (minus the FRS and GMRS stuff).

I wasn't quite sure where the best place to post it should be, but this information is probably good nationwide, and since this is the season for airshows, I have attached the file here. Enjoy!

Excellent, I did the same thing for the UASD file:
http://www.radioreference.com/forums/showpost.php?p=244913&postcount=5

Just a tangent, I tried reading the .mem format in Notepad. Yuck! At least with .usd format, it has 'group' and 'sub group' separators. The .mem format has a pre-marker/header that shows how many channels are in each subgroup, and then the channels are concatenated all together.

Take a look at my file. From what I can tell of this one:
GROUPDATA#,"Blue Angles","20","1","0","1"
GROUPDATA#,"Thunderbirds","16","2","0","1"
GROUPDATA#,"Heritage Flight","7","3","0","1"
GROUPDATA#,"USAF","119","4","0","1"
GROUPDATA#,"USAF AETC T-6","6","5","0","1"
GROUPDATA#,"USAF Combat SAR","15","6","0","1"
GROUPDATA#,"Coast Guard SAR","8","7","0","1"
GROUPDATA#,"US Navy","4","8","0","1"

I wouldn't put all of the air and ground for the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds into one group. So before a demo, you might wantto listen to air & ground. but during the demo you might want to focus on the air stuff.

My version of this has the following groupings:
BlueAngels/Air
BlueAngels/Gnd
Thunderbirds/Air
Thunderbirds/Gnd
AirshowCivVHF
AirshowMilVHF
AirshowMilUHF

...and the nice thing is that I can get rid of the AirshowMilUHF and most of the config works on a 246T.

My file is tailored to us poor souls that don't have the new mega memory scanners yet

Unzip this file, and you'll find it's an Excel spreadsheet with all the freqs laid out in seperate worksheets (each worksheet has a title at the bottom). Works users (and others, too) that can read spreadsheets should have no trouble using this file. If your program requires a csv file, it's a simple matter to convert it . I've also included one or two updates that came from the Milcom list, but no doubt I've missed a few.

73s and enjoy...Mike
