I made up a file and uploaded it to my Whistler ws1065 and now, the signal bars don't work? I tried these instructions from the arc wiki but I don't see the lock option they say to untic any ideas? Thanks! :)

S Meter Issues
PRO651/PRO652: If the smeter does not work then you need to modify the following settings in the expert settings:

  • Select VIEW _ EXPERT in the top menu
  • Click Global Settings then select the EXPERT tab
  • Untick the LOCK option
  • Locate the RSSI Signal section and enter: BAR1=190 BAR2=230 BAR3=260 BAR4=290 BAR5=320
  • Upload the file to the scanner, this will restore the s-meter

It's in there.
pita, you can try adjusting the screen resolution (making everything smaller), or try hiding the task bar to stretch that window a little lower.. Or full screen that window.. IDK

yes uncheck the box.
make any adjustments to those display values.
re check the box (if you like)
save your changes.
then write to the radio.
(y)
I believe it will re-write the whole file that's currently active.

yeah, open your saved file, or read from the radio, save that as a file/profile.
make those changes, save again or save under a new name.
then write to the radio.. Hope that makes sense..
