Arvada P25 / Site 2121 Testing

I see you all are on top of our switch to P25 this week. We are hoping to have our last console up and configured this afternoon. It has been a crazy week.

I have a question about us (Arvada Fire District) setting up a official radio feed from our system. Can I ask it here or should I ask somewhere else?

38001 Arvada Radio Maintenance (mixed of encryption & Phase-1/2).

No phase-2 has been seen on the IDs below:
38054 Arvada PD Animal Control.
38055 Arvada PD Tac-1 and 100% encryption. (this popped up after dispatch asked someone to test the encryption on tac-1)
38057 Arvada PD (Encrypted, unknown use)
38060 Arvada PD Special Events.
38090 Arvada PD All-Call.

Both have switched to the new system. The old EDACS system is quiet with the exception of a few mutual aid talkgroups.

Anyone know if Aurora may ever become involved in this?; and how will this affect Network first if at all?

(I am talking about the whole metro-Harris p25 deal)

Yesterday in the mail I received my, The Arvada Report Feb/March and on page 10 there was an article on the new radio system, below is what they said about it, also if you notice there calling the Arvada, Denver and Lakewood (MARC) system.

There was some discussion back on what to name this new system in the DB. Is MARC an acceptable name to all?

So far I have only heard them on the Arvada site. I did see one radio affiliate with Arvada PD Dispatch (38050) on Denver's site on 1/27 but haven't caught any audio.

Hey guys! I haven't been on my scanner for a long time now and I am trying to play a little catch up.I am a little confused when you speak of phase1/2. Arvada is no longer on the edacs system correct? They are on P25 now? I have a pro106. I should be able to just input control channel right? Radio reference hasn't updated this information.

It looks like one of the a d m i n s might have scared them off. They were told to go ask the question somewhere else and they never did (at least not using that same profile). That's too bad.

I think they did ask, I notice yesterday on the Jeffco feed that there are going to provide a official feed for Arvada fire(currently offline), looks like they bought two Unidens BCD 536HP. Probably just need to set it up on there computers.

Tonight 2/26 around 12:30am I picked up something on MARC talkgroup 94B0h/38064. Sounded like the air unit providing coverage for ground units chasing someone. Sounded like he was just talking to a dispatcher not the units themselves. Couldn't find the talk group in the DB. Anyone else hear it?

Edit: Reason I'm posting it in this thread is it was coming in on the Arvada site on MARC.

It was CLEER patched to METRONET through a Denver PD patch.

Sheridan PD was chasing a stolen jeep, then they got away but DPD's Air One spotted him just as he was crashing in Englewood and Englewood PD got him.

The patch was up from 12:29 am to 12:39 am.

I don't know if your were hearing CLEER, MetroNet, or the patch they were on.
