Assumption Parish

I got the frequencies for Assumption SO from the database on this site. What about Napoleonville PD? Are they dispatched by the SO or do they have their own frequencies? Also, does anyone have the frequencies for the various fire departments in Assumption Parish, or do they all use 154.085?

For fire also try 154.2800, and for medical: Assumption Parish medical Center- 155.3250/155.3400. I have not had an accurate up to date listing for NPD/NFD in many years. I do have a listing but its ten years old. If no one else can help I will post it for ya.

Thanks Milf. Judging from the radios that I have seen them carrying, they are probably still using the VHF frequencies that you have.

OK as I understand it all the city law enforcement agencies are in fact on the VHF Hi band dispatched by the Parish and have the old VHF Lo Band stuff for EOC usage. My old list had PD on 39.500, 39.680, 155.550. So I would monitor the Parish SO freqs. As to LSP, remember that not only do they use the SoLTRS, they can and do operate on each Parish's VHF/UHF systems. Example: Tangipahoa Parish- Primary Dispatch is still on 154.8300 MHz, and LSP does talk to them on this repeater for interop. The same goes for MHP in MS now, they can and do operate on the individual County's systems.

Hey, I listen to Assumption occasionally but most of the time I can't recieve them. The fire departments that I hear on 154.085 are Napoleonville, Labadieville and Paincortville. I don't know how many depts they have but thats the ones I have heard. I have 154.25 programmed as Pierre Part FD but haven't heard anything on that yet. For the SO i have 158.79. I'm not sure about Napoleonville PD, I haven't really been monitoring Assumption that much. Hope this helps.
