Steve,
I looked at your file. Seems a bit different from what I down-loaded from RR.

Steve,
I have down-loaded the file. In WIN500 I have four AC TSYS files called AC1, AC2, AC3 and AC4. They each have a different TSYS ID Object #.
What I can't seem to be able to do is call up one of those AC TSYS numbers to allow the handheld to scan the whole TSYS range.
How do I find out what V-Folder these are located in?
I assume I have to buy ZIP s/w to do this?
Steve,
Ok. Current status...
Scanning now up and running. If you play around enough even a blind squirrl finds nuts eventually.
Ain't perfect though. I am still trying to learn the relationship between WIN500 and down-loading to scanner.
In the V-folder I am scanning now (not sure what V-folder I am using) I am in scan list 17. The handheld is scanning four TSYS's. Three of these are AC and one is from PA.
In WIN500 I don't seem to find the V-Folders. I must be missing something. If I can find the V-folder wtih all the objects, I would be willing to delete the repitive AC TSYS's.
AC Mot PS TSYS only has 27 TGRP object. The County EDACS TSYS are in V-folder 17 and has about 9 TSYS (one for each town site) with associated TGRP objects. However, you are better off using Win500 and Web Import to set to your choice, Using Steve's excellent Utah page should provide considerable help.Steve,

It won't work from V-17 because it has old 866-869 non-rebanded frequencies. However, RR Database has new LCN's for each site. Use Web import and set each site in range to a TSYS. You can set all Police talkgroups to the same scanlist and all fire groups to another. Remember, EDACS requires all freqs from the selected site...no CC only.Frank, I had heard the county TSYS does not work due to "rebanding". So I did not down-load that one.
Yes to whatever you save and send to scanner Main Memory. Working Memory is something you may be developing in V-Folder 00 though I use 00 for a trip file.Question....
In WIN500 at the TSYS Objects tab, I open that and I have 24 TSYS Objects. If I delete the ones I don't want (use) and resave as a new file and then upload to the scanner, will I then upload into the working memory only the ones I saved in the new file? Also, by deleting a TSYS will it delete the associated TGRP's as well or do they have to be deleted indivudually?

 All of us mortals have been there at some time.++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Hello Frank & Steve,
I was bold and went where no mortal man has ever been ..... I deleted lot's of TSYS's and reloaded to the scanner. Now all is well!!!!!!
