Freescan: Audio Help

I'm trying to get my BCD996T to record on my new Windows 10 machine. It shows files recording, but no playback. It's like no audio getting to the PC. Any ideas?

How do you have the scanner connected to the computer? What software are you recording with? Also have you checked the manual to confirm you have recording set up correctly on the scanner?

Freescan, and an audio cable from the green port on scanner to green port on the PC. I even tried the mic input and nothing. I can hear a YouTube video just fine, so it's odd.

If your using the REC jack on the scanner then you need to set the Record option at the system level to All Channels or Marked Channels. If set to Marked Channels then the channel level Record option needs to be set.

I'll check, but it showed the record light as red in the virtual scanner.

I can confirm audio getting in, it's just not being played back to my monitor like Chrome is.

I would look at the audio settings in the PC I have seen some where you can tell what input goes to what output.
