Baltimore City System Frequency Correction

This update was made on RR on 10/062020. The frequency listed as 852.9250 is incorrect or not valid. After removing it from my scanner database everything worked fine. It was hanging up and not functioning properly. Please note this discrepancy and correct it as soon as possible. Thank You !!!

That frequency was valid and active on Thursday. However, you only need to have the control channels programmed for most modern scanners. You can remove the traffic channels.

Its showing that as a valid frequency on the FCC license. Not sure why you had an issue as that's not a listed control channel.

Thank You !!!!This is the first time I had experienced any problems with the database, I've been using it for many years. I have a BC796D and it still works great after 18 years. I am looking to purchase a SD100 later this year. I monitor Baltimore City, Baltimore County (where I live), AA County and Howard County PD's and FD's. Where I live all these jurisdictions come together in close proximity of each other. Thanks Again !!

Could have been some random interference on the channel, or some other technical issue with the system.

Maybe, it's been this way for months now. Trying to get some info from Baltimore City now.

Like I said previously, the channel was active and valid only a few days ago. Something may be interfering in your specific area.

I think so. I will reenter it again soon. It also happens on my Radio Shack Pro96 scanner. I hope to buy a SD100 this fall. I think an upgrade is much needed. Thanks !!
