Anyone know what Talk group 9401 could be? I added it to the wiki. Its not in the normal BCo range.
Or dispatcher training.Sounds like it is being used as a police dispatch frequency.
True, but I do not think so given its use multiple days and throughout the day.Or dispatcher training.
Correct I was only hoping to figure out what it was used for. So that others like me would not be confused. Thank you for advising its correct use. I do not know how to submit so if you would like to please do.If they are known to be dedicated for Radio Training, Perhaps someone could take the time to make a submission.
Could alleviate some of the confusion that's developed.
I'd be hesitant to do this, wouldn't want to give them reason to consider switching to the big-E. Government does NOT cater to hobbyists, quite the contraryIf you are doing this as an hobbyist and not as an employee, have you considered sending a request for information to the County government citing the Maryland Public Information Act?
Submitted 9401 as I can very its use as radio training.I'm not the person picking it up
It's yours @firebal if you care to see it in the RR DB
Be bold use the force
Just say something like...

That is interesting - never heard of that before.Just learned that BCoPD or BCoSO uses Dunbar Inc. as a contractor to transport prisoners to and from jails and to court. Interesting.
A little bird told me what this means. Police strike team's are officers that are equipped to respond to suspected or confirmed calls that may deal with people with or suspected to have COVID-19.BCoPD strike team? Hearing it a lot recently.

Sorry, I meant Anne Arundel.Makes sense, and will stop here or in AA?
Also does anyone know what Motorola ARS is? Can I decode it? And is it worth decoding?
I never knew that AACo used a contractor to transport prisoners - I thought that is what corrections staff did. Why would a centralized booking facility change anything? I guess the arresting officer would drive directly to the booking facility?Anne Arundel Police has used Dunbar or another contractor for years to transport prisoners from the district stations. They use the call sign "PTO." Will most likely end when they finish the new booking center.
