Baofeng Baofeng DM32 DM-32 PTT-ID Decoding??

DM32 DM-32 PTT-ID struggles. I've programmed my UV-5R's to transmit the DTMF Radio ID that I decode on my Anytone 878. I finally figured out how to transmit the DMTF ID on my DM32. ??Does the DM32 have a "Decode" or Analog Contact list as well so I can see the UV-5r's when they transmit??? I've tried setting this up on the UV32 with no success and can't get the Decode working on the DM32. ANY help would be appreciated. Thanks,

I've looked at the DM-32 CPS and can't find any Decode settings for DTMF. There are separate decode sections for both two-tone and 5-tone signaling, and a hint of possible decode capability for the BDC1200 signaling, but nothing obvious for DTMF.
[EDIT] On second thought, there is an "Auto Answer" drop-down in the DTMF menu of the DM-32 that seems to correspond to the "Decoding Response" drop-down of the AnyTone 878, so there is at least a suggestion that DTMF decoding is possible. Make sure that all of the DTMF timings on both of your radios match exactly and see what happens.

In the CPS, under - Analog, Analog Contacts. Isn't that for incoming PTT-ID decoding?

I haven't fooled with the analog contacts menu. Below is from the manual; the term self-ID (my emphasis) suggests to me that "Analog Contacts" are intended to change the analog / DTMF identity of the radio. In other words, it seems that this is the ID that the radio would transmit and/or respond to as its "name/alias". What do you think?

In Analog channel, it will show the radio self ID which is programmed in PC software – Analog –Analog Contacts. This menu item allows the end user to view, edit, add a radio ID, or apply a radio ID and assign it to the current channel. -Select: Apply the current radio ID and assign it to the current channel. -Edit ID: Modify or reset the radio ID. -Edit Name: Modify or reset the radio alias. Press the key to delete forward bit by bit, switch the input method by [#] key to edit the radio alias. -Save: Save the above radio ID and alias modifications.
