Hi can any one help i just up dated my firmware to the latest version
After doing this I am unable to get the scanner to power up
On Battery but if I run, It on Ac adapter or external 6v supply
The scanner works. Not sure what I did wrong can any one help

Not to sound flippant, but are the batteries in correctly polarity wise? I've done that more times than I can count..

i also put those 2300 in backwards what with the negative side looking like a duracell top.
the only thing i could think of is that a diode is burned out.
might be best to send to uniden for service.

Try 3 new alkaline AA batts--don't forget to flip the switch so they don't charge. That way you are sure it's not the batteries or charge system.
