I wanted to get some opinions as to which scanner seems to have more features and is a better buy for the money. Please feel free to post your thoughts and ideas on both and which is worth the $500.

Obviously, if someone needs PC control, they are going to say BC296D. If they need more memory / V-folders, PRO-96. If they need LTR, BC296D. Automatic audio settings (for multiple systems in the same band), PRO-96. Your poll has no way to reflect which features are the deciding factor(s).
Also, are you going for the list price references ($500 each) or the lowest sale price? (making the PRO-96 significantly lower cost)
I think there are too many variables to vote in a poll such as this. It depends on the feature set YOU like/want/need most.
