BC 785D Programming

Programming a BC 785D from the radio keypad and can't remember how to establish a bank for a scanning group. Anyone familiar with this?

Are you talking about a conventional system or trunked? A scanlist of talkgroups? The 785 uses conventional memory banks/channels. You can type in a direct channel number in a bank.

Thanks for the info. Somewhat different procedures for trunked and conventional. The programming shortcuts helped - it just takes time and patience. Seems to be working okay.
