Hi, I have a BCD536HP scanner and need help with programming. I ordered a card from Zip Scanners that is supposed to be programmed for my area but can't get in touch with them and it's been over a week and no word, no tracking number, no nothing. Looks like I am going to call my bank and contest the charge. I would like to know where to go (reputable company) to get another programmed card. Thank you.

I can help you program your scanner. What all are you wanting to listen to? The sheriff, Rural Fire, Hartford PD, and Samson PD, and Slocomb in Geneva county use NXDN48 so if you want to listen to them you need the NXDN update. Have to look at everything else and see if any are DMR.

First, there are Uniden threads that would better address your concern and request for help, rather than the general scanning thread. That said, the title and the context don't seem to match, you ask for programming help in the title, but your post appears to be a complaint about Zip Scanners, who I have dealt with and were reputable in dealings with me. If all you want is another company to do the work for you try Scanner Masters, but they too might take over a week to reach out to you depending on their work load.
Okay, thank you very much for the prompt reply and letting me know about Scanner Masters. The only problem I have with Zip Scanners is trying to get in touch with them about my order that was supposed to be here by now. No tracking number to check. Thanks again though.

Looking at your 4 surrounding counties there is a lot of NXDN being used in your area, so the NXDN upgrade will definitely be needed. Do you have that upgrade?
No, I do not have the NXDN upgrade.
Uniden Sentinel makes programming the scanner on your own a breeze for FREE. Why risk waiting a week or more for a third party to do it for a charge? That never made sense to me...
