Can my BC125AT do a full scan without having programmed frequencies. Like a full spectrum scan? Cheers

I think what you are talking about is searching from a low frequency to a high frequency, right?

And yes, the scanner can do that. You can actually create 10 independent search ranges. For instance, if you wanted one search range to search between 151 MHz and 157 MHz, you can program one of the 10 search ranges to do that portion of the frequency spectrum. If you want to search for military aviation traffic, between 225 MHz and 380 MHz respectively, you can create a search range to do that portion of the band. Or if you just want to search between the lowest and highest frequency the scanner is capable of receiving, you can do that as well. You can see

In the mama look up custom searches. It'll tell you how to create those custom search ranges. It's not difficult and I think it should be pretty easily understood from what the manual has explained in it.

Thankyou for replying. How exactly do I do that. Im not the brightest with tech. If I put as you say 151.000 then 157.000 it only scans those 2 frequencies. Cheers for your help

Do you have the user manual? If not, see pages 50 & 55 of the PDF linked here. This describes custom search range options

If you hsve the user manual then you should be able to figure what you want out. Yes the manual is not brilliant but it is better than nothing.

You can also look at my Scan125 Control Program: Scan125 Control Program

This makes setting Custom Searches a little easier and adds soooooo much more :)
