BC355N Not working

I recently purchased a Uniden BC355N to scan local law enforcement agencies and emergency services. I followed the online programming tutorials and the scanner is not putting through any transmissions.

Below are the radio reference channels I am trying to scan (mainly sheriff channels 1 & 2).

Your scanner isn't capable of receiving Phase II systems and is only capable of Analog.

Just for clarity, there are some conventional channels listed for Pueblo County & city, but comments on the database page that indicates they are using the Statewide system, DTRS, which, as doc has noted, your scanner cannot receive.

While you could program those conventional channels, they likely are not being used on a regular basis, if at all. They probably kept them, for now, in case the trunked system went down in their area.

The only thing I can think of is an SDR.

Maybe someone else can make a specific recommendation.

i left some frequency sites for the 355 for you.
look to the top right of this page.

Your scanner isn't capable of receiving Phase II systems and is only capable of Analog.

The Colorado DTRS is NOT phase II. It's phase 1. I know, I live here.

We do have at least one or two other systems that ARE phase II, but the DTRS is not. The scanner is not a digital modulation capable scanner though.

The 355 will not decode any P25 systems - Phase I, Phase II, or anything else digital.
