Does anyone know the wiring diagram and availability of software for the Uniden BC898T scanner. I have tried searching witout much luck!

I use ARC898 from Butel and works just fine, Uniden may still have software for this scanner.

Didn't look in our wiki?...Anyhow, Scan Control also supposedly supports this scanner

You will also likely need a USB-serial cable, since new PCs don't have serial ports. This article, also from our wiki, mentions several off the shelf brands that are known to work with Uniden scanners, and also descirbes how to use Windows Device Manager to diagnose issues
