ive programmed it via the pro scan app, and its not receiving anything that ive programmed, its just pa, westmoreland county public safety. ive tried 2 other antenna, including a cb antenna 50 feet in the air. any help is welcome

Unless Westmoreland PS is on HF, a CB antenna is not a good choice. Do you have ICORRS system programmed or the VHF conventional frequencies listed in database?

the cb antenna works rather well as a receiver, and it was only to test the scanners receive. and now, i only have westmoreland county public safety on it for now., was trying to get it working first. i dont use icorrs either. i used radio refference to allocate the freqs in the radio, via procsan

Did you assign the new entries to Scan List?
The BCD325p2 is susceptible to simulcast distortion depending on where you are relative to two or more towers on the Westmoreland West Simulcast or Westmoreland East Simulcast. You'd be much better off with an SDS100 to bring in simulcast systems but feel free to try these multipath mitigation methods, you may or may not find one that works for you. is the squelch seet to 2 ?
hit the function button,
push down on the top knob.
squelch is at the bottom of the screen.
turn the knob to set it.
