Which would be better? I just purchased the BCD325P2 and was wondering which one would be best?
Thank you all

One glaring inaccuracy I noticed with that chart is that both scanners now support NXDN with paid upgrade, though the chart says no. Provoice & DMR are other paid upgrade options available for both scanners

I noticed the comparison chart is not accurate for the 436 & 536. The aforementioned will pick up NXDN, DMR, EDACS & ProVoice with paid upgrade. These 2 scanners also have Close Call feature.

The 436 is more user-friendly--most programming is copy and paste from the database in Sentinel. And it's better suited for road trips, because it doesn't have the memory limitations of the 325P2. But it's more expensive.

OP needs to make sure he doesn't want to monitor a P25 simulcast system; if so, neither may be suitable.

I have the 436 which I HATE. I bought the 325P2 and it's awesome. Much easier to program and understand. 436 is going up for sale as soon as I take a few pictures of it. Unfortunately I have the TRBO and NXDN in the 436, not the 325.

Good, this should hopefully make the radio more marketable and thus you can demand a higher price. Make sure you give the buyer your activation keys in case they ever have to send the unit out and need to reactivate
