BCD436HP Firmware Update Software

I have a Uniden BCD436HP scanner. When I bought it, I downloaded the Sentinel software to update the firmware. Now I have a new Windows 11 laptop, but Sentinel is no longer available on the Uniden website like it used to be. I did find the following link: BCDx36HPSentinel < UnidenMan4 < TWiki There's a link on the page for Sentinel software but my laptop couldn't open it. Am I missing something or is Sentinel just not available?

Check your firewall, antivirus software etc. I just downloaded Sentinel from the link in your post and there were no issues.

You probably need to enable Net Framework 3.5 which includes Net Framework 2.0 which is required by Sentinel.

The OP is not able to download Sentinel from Uniden’s server. That wouldn’t have anything to do with the .net framework. The .net framework issue can occur during installation, after Sentinel is downloaded.

You probably need to enable Net Framework 3.5 which includes Net Framework 2.0 which is required by Sentinel.

Thanks for the advice. I downloaded Net Framework 3.5 and Sentinel is installed and works fine.
