2) I need to find and purchase something external, that will enable me to copy the contents of the supplied Micro SD card to another Micro SD card, for back up purposes.

Without purchasing a separate external Micro SD card reader or copier device (whatever is the appropriate term). With Sentenial already on my cpu, for back up purposes. Wish I could upload everything on the factory Micro SD card up to my cpu (like I did with Starsoft with my old RS scanners). Then insert a blank new Micro SD card in the radio. Then transfer that data to the scanner's newly installed Micro SD card. I see some upload, etc., tabs in the Sentential. I just need time to figure out this system.

Next thing 3) I need to figure out how to enter frequencies and talk groups in the Sentinel.

Having had that great Starsoft software. I thought I could just type in or drag and drop talk groups and frequencies.

I opened up my county on file in the Sentinel, it had just two talk groups. I can't seem to find a way to print any additional talk groups below that. My goal here is to setup up just one county and a few cities to get the scanner running.

To backup the card, just copy the contents using Windows Explorer the same as you would copy anything else.

If you are looking at your local system in the main dB, just highlight it and right click and select APPEND TO FAVORITES and select the FL you want to use (or click the button to make a new one).

Once you have a FL, highlight it and hit CTRL-2 to edit it. There are many ways to get the the edit screen, but I think this is the fastest way.
