Did you purchase the Extreme Upgrade?

I don't believe there is an "Extreme Upgrade" for the BCD536HP. As far as I know, this is an HP1/2 item.

In my SO: bank I have a system programmed in 1, 2, and 3. How do you turn off a bank? How do I monitor just the system in bank 3 and turn 1 and 2 off? Thanks

"Banks" are a term for pre-x96 scanners and are no longer applicable to the 536 model.

I'm guessting you have three systems within a Favorites List: System 1, System 2 and System 3.

You have at least three options:

One is to set the Avoid for the Systems via the keypad. The sequence for that on the keypad is Menu>Manage Favorites>(scroll to the Favorites List containing the system)>Review/Edit System>(scroll to the System, such as System 1)>Set System Option>Set Avoid>Choose Temporary Avoid or Permanent Avoid.

(Temporary Avoid is where the system is avoided until the scanner is powered down and will become unavoided when the scanner is powered back up. Permanent Avoid is what it says "Permanently Avoided", until you manually release the Avoid.)

Another option is to get into Sentinel and edit the Favorites List containing the systems. For each system there is an Options tab in the right pane. You will see an Avoid drop down box. Select Avoid. Then do a write to scanner.

The third option, which is what I recommend, is through the use of Quick Keys. Set a Favorites List Quick Key (FLQK) for the Favorites List containing the Systems such as FLQK 1. Next set a System Quick Key (SQK) for each of the three systems, such as SQK 1, SQK 2 and SQK 3.

Then via the keypad, turn off the system quick keys for the two undesired systems. The process is FLQK.SQK Eyes. Thus if you program the FLQKs and SQKs as I described above, it would be 01.01 Eyes (for system 1) and 01.02 Eyes (for system 2). The period (.) is needed.

Can you do an open search of a system from the scanner or does it have to be set in the programming?
