BCD536hp NXDN Dickson County

I live in Dickson County Tennessee and have purchased the Uniden NXDN upgrade. When scanning i can only her dispatch and not patrol cars. Any ideas? Thanks

I live in Maury County and Columbia is NXDN also and the Dispatch is clear and the cars are encrypted. It is not possible to unencrypt the cars.

Hi & welcome to the RR forums:
Assuming by your report that you're not able to pick up TGID 52006 here the first thing I would suggest is to ensure the Law Tac service type is turned on otherwise the scanner will omit all talkgroups with "tag" designated as such in the DB. If DB is accurate the aformentioned talkgroup is in the clear (mode "D") and should be able to be tracked unless something has changed since the submission was made. If the talkgroup were encrypted it would (or should) be listed as mode "DE" for full encryption or "De" (lowercase e) for partial encryption

i also live in Dickson County
nothing in dickson county is encrypted
make sure you have all the law service types enabled and you should be golden
also if you live closer to buckner park than charlotte turn off all sites except the dickson site

In Sentinel, go to the Edit tab, Edit Profile, and the Service Types tab. When Sentinel is first installed, only the Dispatch service types are enabled.
