BCT 796D and Tone Display

Is there any way to display the PL/DCS tone used when scanning? I noticed that the 296 and 796 won't display the code used where as the 780 does? Is there something that I am missing?

No, if you have an alphatag programmed, you will not see the PL/DPL tone.

The 780 has a SUPERIOR display to the 785/796

that's what I thought. Ohh well no big deal. I wonder why they did that on the newer models? Thanks...

Program it (or part of it) as part of the alpha tag. I.E. "City Police 141"
