BCT15 Active Display Mode?

What the hell is Active Display Mode on the BCT15? The only reference that I can find to it in the manual is how to turn it on and off.

If you turn it on, you'll notice a dramatic difference with the display on trunked and conventional systems...

For this to be effective, you must program in all channels and not use CC only mode. There will be a bar graph below the main channel display that indicates which system channels are busy at a given moment.

So it makes no difference on conventional systems?

OK I just loaded all of the freqs in our trunking system and now I can see what it does. Seems like a useless feature.

Sorry - was thinking of the other setting for conventional. But yes, you'll notice the active channel display which while of little use, gets asked about quite frequently on the scanners that don't offer it (unless you tap the volume scroll.)
