I'm going to upgrade to a newer scanner in a few days . will the bct15x work for the trunked systems in the n.E. part of Oklahoma . ohp , Craig county , etc ?

It will do the analog trunking just fine but digital is coming and you'll be behind again. Also, you might want to do a search about how to set up the scanner for the re-banding at Vinita. If the one you buy is brand new, I suppose it might already be able to work with a re-banded site with no problem.

I've got the scanner and its new . only issue is I can't get the dang thing to let me go from Alabama to Oklahoma . I'm assuming I need to down load the software to get the thing loaded ? . the CD that came with it doesn't have much info . so I'm asking here .
