I returned my Pro-96, because I think I will like the Uniden's better. For one, my Pro-96 did not cover MilAir.
Anyway, I want to get a 996T, and here are my 2 questions
1) Do Quick Keys kind of work like Radio Shack V-Folders?
- V folders save configurations which can be recalled. It seems Quick keys do this.
- V folders have banks that can be disabled. Is the equivalent Group Keys?
2) Do I just "dump" everything (all my truncked system frequiencies) into the dynamically allocated memories?
- The Pro96 could only take 1 truncked system per bank.
- I assume you group 1 truncked system per group Key?
As soon as I understand this, I will order my 996T....
Thanks guys
