Berkeley County School Buses 2023

Berkeley County school buses/schools/ bus garage are now digital, NEXEDGE96 RAN 1, on same freq as in the past, 464.3000 , current license, WPYP640 does have emissions of 11K2F3E (analog) and 4K00F1E (NXDN) , not sure when they switched over --

Excellent, I've been hoping to have an NXDN system to monitor here at home on DSD. Speaking of...have you monitored any other NXDN comms/systems around the area? I can't seem to find any at all down here in JeffCo. (I just yesterday started searching for railroad NXDN).

The only other one I can reliably monitor is site 11 (Upper Strasburg, Franklin Co. PA) of this this system -- Industrial Electronics (448) Trunking System, Regional, Multi-State but I'm not sure if you can get it from your location. There is this one in Hagerstown but I can't receive it -- Meritus Medical Center Trunking System, Hagerstown, Maryland

The school and railroad are the only NXDN in Berkeley county. The only thing in Jefferson county is the railroad.

This school year is the first for going digital. I am trying to figure out how to program it into my Uniden bcd436

Do you have the NXDN upgrade in your scanner? You will need it for the Berkeley County school buses if that is what you want to monitor.
