I posted back in 2022 looking for some feedback on what VHF highband frequencies were still being utilized by local fire companies. THat old thread is locked due to inactivity.

Right now, in the database, we still have several frequencies listed as crossbands to the old lowband. I would guess some of these now rebroadcast traffic from the trunked system (either Fire A, Fire B, or both). However, I am looking for confirmation of such.

154.415 KGC946RM136.5 PLFltwd FC XBFleetwood Fire Co. - 33.68 Crossband RepeaterFMNFire-Tac
151.4225 KGE647BMBirds 33.68Friendship Fire Co., Birdsboro - 33.68 crossband repeaterFMNFire-Tac
155.835 KNGU692RM173.8 PLShoe 33.94Shoemakersville Fire Co. #1 - 33.94 CrossbandFMNFire-Tac
154.29533.940WNGZ713RM91.5 PLTopton 3394Topton Fire Co. - 33.94 CrossbandFMFire-Tac
151.0325 KDB374RM100.0 PLLsprt 3394Union Fire Co. of Leesport - 33.94 crossband repeaterFMFire-Tac

I was in Berks today and monitored 155.310 during several fire calls. I heard no activity on the frequency, so I changed that to deprecated. I was mobile along the 422 and 61 corridors at the time of the fire dispatches and confirmed there was traffic on the TRS.

155.310 - was active fairly recently. It retransmitted Berks Fire A as well as a number of the Fire Ops talkgroups in a scanning fashion. I'll take a listen again to confirm also.

151.4225 - fairly certain this is no longer used.

I've got those conventional rebroadcasts loaded up in my 536HP, I let it scan for a good bit yesterday alongside my SDS100 scanning the county TRS which I can pick up from Montco, didn't get any activity from any of them. Unrelated to the above I can confirm that 151.475 C156.7 (Fire B) is still alive and well. However 154.1825 664 DPL which once rebroadcasted Fire A doesn't seem to be in use anymore (even when I removed the tone). I used to be able to pick this up pretty well from home but now zip...

The 151.4225 license has expired, so not sure who is using that freq.
Topton's 2 frequencies for vhf have expired and will not be renewed.
151.475 pl156.7 is licensed to Exeter twp fire dept located just S of Reading.

I can verify:
155.310 173.8 - Berks Fire A and OPS
151.475 156.7 - Berks Fire B

154.1825 664 DPL - this one is odd. It seems to have recently dropped the DPL (I was using reverse tone encoding on the Lehigh County dispatch frequency 154.175 to lock it out, however now that doesn't work....). Last heard it was CSQ.

The license for154.1825 was just renewed March 12 this year. I'll do some more monitoring of that one.

They must have reduced power a bit. I finally got a pick up on it, albeit only 1 bar, scratchy but readable from Eagleville Montco. Can confirm the DPL has been removed, now CSQ
