Any recommendation for a company that will custom cut to length and also attach correct connectors. Not very good at my age with a knife and soldering gun.

I agree with the above..........Antenna Farm will make custom coax lengths with any connector combination you prefer. I have used them a few times with no issues at all.

I heartily agree, The Antenna Farm is the place to go. They will custom make any length/connector combo you can think of. Excellent craftsmanship on the custom cables as well.

Best place to buy LMR400 UltraFlex Cable with PL259 ends? Thanks

I just typed in "ham radio store" in my search engine and came up with a pretty good sized selection; as far as "best", I'm not sure how to determine that (price? delivery speed? convenient location?). I'm sure there are a lot of people out there with their favorite place or a place they've had good luck with...

And yes....DX Engineering does offer very good coax. I have purchased several hundred feet of their LMR400 Ultra Flex pre-made assemblies with the PL259 connectors (in varying lengths of course) over the years. I currently have two runs of their 400Flex feeding a couple of antennas in the yard right now. Good quality products and coax they sell as well. I really like their LMR 400 and their PL259's. But for some custom applications with specific connectors and lengths of varying coax.......Antenna Farm is where I usually go. Just my preferences.

Your local commercial 2-way radio shop. Make friends with a tech. They generally have misc-length cut-offs too. ie. 20-50 feet if you only need a short run.

Exactly. I haven't had to 'buy' coaxial cable in a very long time. Fairly easy to get reel ends of Heliax. Connectors are another story, though.
