Anker isn't an Amazon rebadge, it's one of the most reputable companies when it comes to consumer li-ion engineering, and quality cells (mostly cylindrical Sanyo ncr18650b and LG's). No lipo puffy pouches in these. The AC charge ports versions are also engineered well - put a quality meter on them, and they will meet spec, if not a little bit more if taxed.
The ports in much of their gear is pretty smart - being able to figure out the difference between charge-only cabling, vs full comms oem phone charger cables, and charge the best way it can. Some ports even test for voltage drop, like trying to charge something with a ridiculous 15 foot usb cable.
Basically I have no qualms about using Anker products to charge my scanners - although specialized oem versions that have noise-filtering and so forth are also ideal.
