I know it's a necro-thread but I couldn't help myself after reading all the naysayer posts about how 10k mobile setups are not possible. In terms of mobile power generation capabilities, one need look no further than competition level car stereo setups. 10k Watts is attainable with several 150 Amp alternators feeding a bank of 6 Optima Red Top batteries bolstered by a few hi-cap capacitors. And keep in mind, most of these jokers cannot transmit for more than a minute or two without cutting out for a cool down and recovery. Often, they will key up and you can hear the noise floor come up as they raise engine RPM to make their announcement. If YouTube is not enough to prove the existence of these setups, perhaps a visit to a large professional, sponsored car show is in order. 5-10kw audio systems are very common. I've seen more than one windshield pop right out of a vehicle due to the SPL generated by a dozen 15" subwoofers consuming 600 watts a piece.
