Do we know when Radio Reference will update the county maps to digital? Blanco County still lists all the analog frequencies with a link to GATRRS. Also I programmed the system for Gillespie County and haven't heard any broadcasts.
Gillespie County is on the LCRA P25 system and not fully transitioned from the old LCRA 900 analog system just yet. And the site admins usually never delete old frequencies, just mark them as depreciated
So North Blanco County ems was on tgid 7136. Ben started talking to Dispatch and said he was still on the 800 system, for them to relay to county officers. So do we have some 800 that we don't have in the database? Kinda interesting if we do.
Those talkgroups would also appear on the Austin/Travis Co system depending on what tower they are near so he may have been on the Marble Falls tower:
1 (1) 003 (3) Marble Falls IR Travis 851.46250 851.88750 852.28750 852.80000c 853.15000 853.75000
So I got a 536hp. I finally have it setup the way I want. It doesn't seem to pick up as well as the 996xt. On the 996xt, I can pick up Fredericksburg but not the 536. Guess I need to see about getting an inline amp for the base antenna. Anyone have any suggestions. It's mounted about 25 feet in the air. I can get to it pretty easily. It is a discone type.
triathlon going on in Llano, Burnet, and Blanco Counties this morning. I think they are operating on Llano ops channels. they are on tgid's 7169 and 7317 at this time.
For the new tower: I'm calling it Singleton Bend (since it's near that road) in Burnet Co
