Thanks!

ecps92, on the app, under ops, select San Bernardino County, you will then see over 20 tabs or buttons to possibly select. Select “channel plans” and look for Zone 34. Only a couple of BLM frequencies listed (already in the database). It is interesting looking at the other zones too.

Thanks, thought i had that app years ago, but seems it went silent (retired) had to do an update.
Shame the app doesn't have a Print feature...

I edited the Wiki to show the Olancha Station, which has a shop building/engine bays, plus a residential unit. They keep the engine in the bays with the door shut. The flag at the residence is flown most days when I drive through there. The new U.S. 395 bypasses this station and the few businesses in town. The engine at this station responds to some Cal Fire/Inyo National Forest incidents in southern Inyo Co.

I'm not thrilled with the new section of Hwy 395. It's easy to miss the n/b "Death Valley" exit to Hwy 190. I also wonder if this will put the Mobil gas station and beef jerky places out of business.

The road through Olancha has been dangerous for years. People not slowing down to the posted 45 and 55 mph speed limits, people passing without proper clearances, vehicles turning off and on the highway and all the heavy traffic in and out of the bottling plant made for dangerous conditions. I'm glad to see the bypass nearly completed. Roadside businesses are probably going to die, but safety will be greatly enhanced.

EDIT: the bypass will make engines responding from Olancha Station a safer endeavor in pulling out of the station. Sometimes, with 395 right at their gate, delays of 5-15 minutes, especially on Sunday afternoons, would be experienced. Drivers on a Sunday afternoon would just ignore the flashing reds on the engines.

The gain in safety is worth any of negative effects the bypass will result in.
