Baybum, just change the extension to zip or txt, and mention in the posting message that it's a p96 file that needs the extension changed; or see how mlevin did it in the Andrews thread

Looks like the Blues are staging at PAX; I must have heard a unit that was going to land at Andrews for fuel then return out.

Blues at Andrews

Mike,
I was listening to the Andrews TRS on Sunday 05/22 about 7pm and I heard an announcement that the Blues and Fat Albert would be touching down within the hour. I can't remeber what else was said or the id I hreard the conversation on, but I got the idea they were coming in to Andrews. Prior to this conversation I would have thought the Blues would go to PAX. Closer to 8pm I began to pick up a carrier on their cross country freq 143.6 I think, but no voice.

Is it those great big pictures that are making me have to scroll 10 feet to the right to read these posts?

I am hearing something...but my freq's are 143.1500, 305.2000, 362.3000, and 127.275.

Not hearing any call signs to go with them,
but they are checking visibilty levels
and block space.

Hey All,
I just came back from OC Maryland today and rain pretty much all the way home. I passed by the navel academy on the bay bridge and it looked like there was some kind of naval vessel parked off shore.Weather pretty bad

And they're going to have problems; the Westher channel is calling this storm a 'May Nor'easter' Just lovely

Interesting; I just checked my files; 362.3 is a well known AWACS freq, all the others have had DC ANG on them from time to time. Another incursion?

Mike, no incursions that I heard today - just lots of training by the 121st. WILD and ANGRY flights were up this morning. I've been gone all afternoon so don't know what else might have developed. Hearing the T-Birds really surprised me though.

I did hear the T-Birds...but as for the rest,

143.15 I think were A-10's out of Martin State.
127.275 turned out to be a CAP patrol

I also heard on a variety of channels:

Cuban 1

Angry 1

Reach

Scare 2 (PAX?)

I did hear Angels on 305.2000 and 362.3000

Though there was no singing like the T-birds (sheesh...that guy was driving me nuts).

Could that have been Scary 2? (F-16s from the 121st FS) Seems they used their whole bag of callsigns from the 121st today - SCARY, WILD, ANGRY. It seems like there has been an increase in training recently. They must have had an increase in funding for that purpose. It was due after all the years they had nothing in the pot for training.

We probably should have a MilAir thread.

In spite of being "suspended," the Blue Angels are apparently flying at the moment. Activity on 275.35, 237.8 and 284.25 now. This flight leader is a clown...can't describe it...you have to hear it for yourself.

Not that I heard Dan. They were active for just a few minutes and then disappeared. I'm not sure if they were starting their show or were just up while departing the area.

An Andrews chopper reported the ceiling as 1700 feet but with good visibility. Not great weather for an airshow.
