Okay, I think I see what you are talking about if you are referencing this
post.
There are two ways to intersperse replies inside a quote and have it come out correctly.
- There is what the staff refers to as the Warren method; we really don't like it. That is where you sweep and copy the part you want to quote and then place them in quotes yourself, then respond. This makes it all look the same and can be quite confusing to the readers.
- There is the method where you hit the <Quote> link (or multi-quote link for several posts) then break down the quote(s) by editing in BB Code QUOTE and /QUOTE where you need them to break up the quote. This is the method we prefer you use.
An example of the latter would be like below:
This would be reply one.
And this would be reply two.
And this is what it looks like in the edit window (except the lines would wrap):
