In case someone from Uniden is counting...you can add one more person to the 'would not buy with a NASCAR logo' list. Please don't make this mistake again ;-)

I also jumped onto the anti Nascar Logo bandwagon until I actually purchased the BR330T and found that it really didn't matter at all. If anything it adds some nice colour and individuality to the unit.

Man I am glad I found this topic. I had passed on this scanner before because I saw the NASCAR logo and assumed it was geared towards monitoring the races. You know what happens when you assume though. After reading over the specs I just had to pick up one to replace my aging 2500XLT.

I just picked up one of the 2 that Scanners Unlimited had left. Great deal at $249 for phone in orders too. Should be here tomorrow and I can't wait to get it programmed and start using it.

Do a google search for BR330T and you will find a few other retailers still have them listed on their sites. Most are around the same price as AES, $250 - $280.

Ham Radio Outlet still has them listed for $279.

A lot of folks are missing out on a great scanner (BC330T) Just because it has a Nascar logo on it, most people assume it is just for Nascar races. Truth be told, just about any scanner can pick up racing frequencies. It's just the Nascar promoted scanners allow you to add things like car numbers and drivers names so you'll know who you're listening to.

Speaking of NASCAR, I saw a $300 Husqvarna chainsaw at Lowes today with NASCAR all over the chain bar. I fail to see what NASCAR & chainsaw's have in common besides maybe sponsorship...but at least a scanner is something you might see/buy at a track.
