I'm here a lot
937.1750 mHz. is used by Brampton Transit. I can hear it albeit weakly here in Toronto.
They don't appear to be using all twelve of the 937 range freq.'s .

Here's a question? If Brampton Tranist is on a 900 megs LTR system, why is it then you can continue to hear them on 937.175 and no other frequency. I may be wrong and correct me if I am.

Thanks
Eddie

YES BRAMPTON TRANSIT IS ON THE 900 LTR SYSTEM
I WORK FOR TRANSIT AND MONITOR THEM BUT I'M ALSO WONDERING WHY IT IS ONLY ON ONE FREQ AS THERE ARE SUPPOSE TO BE 10 FREQUENCIES
IF ANYONE ELSE CAN HELP WITH THIS PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

On an LTR system each user has a home repeater. The frequency you are listening to is probably the home repeater.

All transmissions will be on this repeater unless it is in use by other users. In this case, BT will move to another free repeater and you will miss the conversation.

What somebody in the Brampton area needs to do is setup ltrunker or something similar and map the system out.

On the case, I heard Brampton Parking Enforcement Dispatch talking on 938.5500 to a Enforcement mobile and an Animal Services mobile. We now know 2 frequencies, 8 to go.

Hey poppys780bc, give me a call, I left you my number in a pm on here.

The strange thing is, these frequencies do not match any of the ones posted by people saying it was Mobile Business Communications Ltd. 100 Count Court Bd in Brampton.Hmmm

Take care

Brampton LTR System

I have picked up some key frequencies on this system. It appears that there is key freqs for key users. I will list the frequeicies below and the user on heard on them. I think that I can speak for all say that we are getting closer to solving this one but I ask for your assistance. It is my understanding of the system that the users will use main freqs unless they get busy and then they get put on a different freq.

937.1750 Transit
937.2000 Transit
937.2250 Chrysler Drive Yard
938.5250 Sandlewood Yard
938.5500 Parking Enforcement
938.6000 Possible freq.
939.1500 Possible freq.
939.1750 Parks
939.2000 Back up Freq.

ID's seem to be
101xxx for transit
109xxx for enforcement
103xxx for works (West side)

I believe I may have found 9 out of 10 freqs. Once again your help is greatly appreciated and I guess the next challenge once they are all found is to put them in LCN order. I guess I'm missing the key frequency that control the system. It might be 937.0250.

Hi. I'm just the new guy here, so bear with me.

If you're looking for the radio ID's, I think it's on the actual units themselves on the busses, it's actually posted on the top of the radio unit itself. You can see the sticker when you get on the bus to pay your fare.

As others on this thread, I enjoyed listening to the Brampton Transit frequency and it provided many hours of fun listening.
