They have the guy in custody now.

police raided a home in Indy on N Keystone and took 8 people into custody and found evidence related to the bank robbery and shooting of a pregnant bank teller.

Just now they charged 4 in the robbery and shooting! a 5th charged with child endangerment.

Crap, and the shooter WON'T be charged with killing them! The law needs to be changed! Since fetus's were only 5 months old the shooter can't be charged, Indiana law requires them to be 7 months old.....

Guess fetuses aren't people, too (at least not in Indiana). I wouldn't be surprised to see this grow into a huge story nationally (e.g. Bill O'Reilly picks it up).

Looks like IMPD is going backwards instead of forwards on this case. It's too bad though I'd like to see them get the people involved dead or alive.....

Greetings Earthlings
I've been out of the whole Amateur Radio and Scanner scene for about 15 years. Just now thinking about getting back into it. I've read some info here on the forum, but not sure I'm clear on certain things. Back in my day, if you were listening to a trunked system, you had to manually scan after each transmission. Now a-days, I understand that most scanners capable of listening to 800mhz and above will do this for you. Also, I'm reading/hearing information that IPD/Marion County Sherrifs (now MCPD I think) have gone or will be going digital. Back in my day, it was not possible to listen to Digital systems since no scanners had the capability to decrypt or translate a digital signal. From what I understand, there are scanners that have this capability now. Please forgive my ignorance and also if I'm in the wrong part of the forum. Thanks..
