Just felt another pretty good aftershock up here in west lafayette ...WOW!

I remember the one back in 87 I dont recall feeling any aftershocks.

Whats really weird is I recall just the other day on CNN or one of the other news channels that scientist were monitoring 600+ unexplained earthquakes west of Oregon in the ocean ... scary to think something major is going on right now.

Same here, strong aftershock. I felt more in this one than the one earlier, but I was half-asleep then. Pretty spooky, my second earthquake ever in my life, both on the same morning.

Yes, I agree this one felt pretty strong to me, just didnt last as long.

Just in they are saying that aftershock was 4.5 ...

6 aftershocks so far. Last one was a 4.5. Still no damage in Evansville.

4.2 this morning, didn't feel it though. I heard a lot of traffic on IHS TGs throughout this whole quake thing though. I need to program some TG IDs....

Ahhh hadnt even heard of that one ... slept right through it and been too busy to turn on the TV / read the news.

Today's aftershock was the 18th since Friday and the second strongest, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The strongest was a 4.6 magnitude shaker about 5 1/2 hours after the original quake Friday morning.

Hopefully all the earthquakes are over with now.. I could sure use some sleep without the interruptions..

According to what my brotherinlaw heard today there is talk that these quakes and aftershocks may be a prelude to a bigger one involving the New Madrid fault as it tends to react to any movemrnt by the plates North and South of it.

I also wonder if all the rain this year has anything to do with all this movement?

Bank robbery at 21st & Post Rd Indy - pregnant teller shot and in serious condition. Investigation has spread to Warren Central High School as it's believed some students may have information on the suspect

I was doing some Sat testing and came across that on CNN and now they just had a feed from WISH 8 chopper 8 on there not a good story to make CNN I hope the lady and the babies are ok

From what I heard from someone who works for the bank and knows her shes doing OK as are the twins. Also from a student at WCHS they took one kid out of school in handcuffs, apparently some students were involved, she said they skipped school tried to rob the bank then went to school afterwards. IMPD officers ID'ed the suspects from the video and went straight to the school. All students were locked in their classrooms for 6 hours. They brought food to each room.
