I PROGRAMMED ALL THE FREQUENCIES FOR EACH SITE, I KNOW THAT THE EAST, SOUTH CENTRAL, SOUTH ZONES ARE QUIET, BUT EVEN WHEN THERE ACTIVE I HEAR NOTHING ON MY SCANNER. ARE THERE DIFFRENT FREQUENCIES FOR THESE ZONES THEN LISTED, CAUSE I PROGRAMMED EVERYTHING CORRECT AND HEAR EVERY OTHER ZONE. THANKS FOR ANY HELP.

Do you have the scanner set up with the correct 3 base/offset/spacing settings? What scanner are you using?

You should be able to hear the South & South Central zones on the East zone set up, it's patched together. I also hear them on the West zone set up. Are you picking up the control channels? I live in Medford and cannot receive the South & South Central control channels.

yeah, I have the base/offset/spacing all correct. I believe I pick up all the control channels with the way its set-up. Just for some reason I cant here these 3 zones. Its probably something stupid but I am using a radio shack 2096 and I believe everything is programmed correct. Maybe I will try plugging the 3 zones uniden id's into the east or west zone frequncy set-up and see if I can hear anything that way.

I have a PRO-96 I am trying to set up to monitor the system. I can program the first Base/offset/spacing data, but I can't figure out how to program the second and third sets. Checked the manual but it only contains info on how to program a single base/offset/and spacing frequency. In trunked mode, after pressing FUNC then 2, i can enter only a single set of information. Anyone else know how to enter the other 2 base and offsets into the PRO-96/2096?

Thanks

Hello,

Win96 allows programming of multiple ranges.

EDIT**
Thanks for that info Dave,
I did get the Win96 Software, in extended tables section, do you have to change the "CH Lo" and "CH Hi" numbers?

Hello,

Yes. Program as follows:

Range #, CH Low, CH Hi

1: 380-529
2: 530-558
3: 559-759

I assume I am suppose to leave like 00 blank? If so no need to respond.

Thanks

I have been reading all of the posts in reference to programming the Burlington County System and am still very confused. Perhaps someone can help me here. A friend of mine wants to monitor Site 6, Chatsworth only. Which one of the Custom Frequency Tables does he program into his BC246T in order to do this, or does he have to enter all three, or does he have to do the "high" "low" thing that Dave suggested for someone using a Radio Shack scanner. I realize that software is the best way to go here, but he is doing this manually. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks very much.

All three tables need to be programmed. I think he may need to use the software to program in the other 2 tables.

You say all three need to be programmed and that he may need software to program the other two. What other two ? I only see three altogether. Do you mean he can program one in manually but may need software to program the remaining two ?

One more thing, do we put the three Custom Frequeny Tables and the Site #6 frequencies in one bank, or one Custom Frequency Table each and the freqs. in three separate banks ?

I'm not familiar with this specific system, but I can answer some questions based on general knowledge and the info in the database here.

The Pro-96/2096 can take one B/O/S entered from the keypad; if multiple are required, software must be used for all three and the scanner must be set to use the custom multi-table (terminology may vary). I believe that all Unidens can have all available B/O/S configs programmed from the keypad.

CH Hi and CH Lo are required by Win96 and/or Pro 96s and Pro 2096s. I believe all Unidens interpolate this data so they don't required it to be entered.

Each config can handle repeater channels for frequencies above that config's base frequency. Since Site 006 has frequencies between all three bases and above the top one, you almost certainly must program them all in. I would hypothesize that base 500.325 handles 500.6875 through 501.2500; that base 502.425 handles 502.4750 through 502.6750; and that base 506.475 handles 508.5500.

To properly trunk Site 006, enter the control channel(s) and all three configs into one bank -- do not split them between banks. You may also be able to enter other sites into the same bank, depending upon what scanner you have and which precise memory slots you use. I prefer to keep it simple and separate sites into different banks.

This is the Win96 file with correct settings and 25 CC's with 51 TG's. Download and rename by removing the .txt
